Description
These ten-panel banners are hand-cut from tissue paper in Day of the Dead themes. “Papel Picado,” or punched paper in Spanish is a time honored form of Mexican folkart. They are used to announce important holy days and celebrations. Ephemeral paper art like this is especially suited to DOTD as a metaphor for the transitory nature of human life.
Great for party decoration or classroom use. String of 10 cutouts in a clear envelope with a description sheet. 14″ x 18″
